There is no end to ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
As per reports, Pakistani Rangers resorted to heavy firing in Hiranagar sector of Jammu early on Monday.
The shelling targeted several posts of the Border Security Force (BSF) which mans the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir.
The BSF retaliated to Pakistani shelling in equal measure.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has authorised the BSF as well as the Indian Army to respond with double force to provocation by Pakistan, which has been regularly violating ceasefire over the past several months.
